At 84, Buffett is still right up the top of the rich list and his wealth is only continuing to rise. He is the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway which is Americas most valuable public stock. He is also known for giving away large amounts of cash, giving away a total of $20 Billion.

Carlos made his fortune in the latin American telecoms industry. If you make a call to anywhere in latin America then there is a good chance you will be using one of his networks. In Mexico, his business has control of over 80 percent of the landline market, meaning significant control of the market. He also owns stakes in the New York Times.
4) Amancio Ortega $62 B
At 78, Mancio is the owner of the worlds richest retailer ortega. He still owns 60 percent shares in the brand that owns clothing giant Zara. His more recent ventures have seen him buying into real estate for bargain prices during the financial downturn.
5) Larry Ellison $56.5 B
Ellison is the founder being Oracle, one of the majors players behind the internet. He founded Oracle back in 1977 and has only recently left his position at the company. At 7o, Ellison is known for being an adrenaline junkie and is the backers for the American Oracle sailing team. his recent ventures consist of property development in Hawaii.

Charles Koch’s wealth was made due to his diversification into many different business areas. With his brother David, they still continue to acquire many different businesses. From paper cups to oil pipe lines, Koch has stakes in multiple areas of business.

Liliane is the daughter of the founder of the worldwide success that is L’Oreal and was at one point the worlds richest woman. Many of their family have a stake in the company and take up many senior positions in the organisation.

The youngest Billionaire on our list, Zuckerberg is the famous founder behind Facebook. Since floating Facebook on the stock market, he has become one of the richest people in the world and there seems no stopping Facebook. They have recently acquired many other ventures including Instagram and Whatsapp. Zuckerbergs wealth looks set to rise with the increasing investment in the latest online trends.

At 72, this former mayor of New York still has a 88 percent stake in the Bloomberg company he founded. Bloomberg is a privately held financial software and data company. Just like other members of this list, he is also known to give large amounts to charities.
